This position serves as a pivotal link between our organization and key accounts, driving growth through strategic relationship management and team leadership. The role is designed to maximize account penetration and loyalty by introducing innovative products and exclusive brand offerings while ensuring strict contract compliance.
You will lead a sales team comprising Account Coordinators and Customer Service Representatives, guiding them to deliver optimum service and operational efficiency. Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of field engagement and strategic oversight, with anticipated field time of at least four days per week to visit customers and build rapport.
Your work will balance direct customer interaction with internal collaboration. You will conduct systematic personal visits and formal Business Reviews to discuss mutual performance, market trends, and new programs. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to managing the product mix to meet profit goals and ensuring accounts receivable targets are met.
Internally, you will coordinate closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Accounting functions to support account needs and streamline processes. Externally, you will represent the company at sales meetings, training sessions, food shows, and conferences to foster relationships with customers and vendors.
Candidates selected for this role will be invited to participate in a series of interviews designed to assess both sales acumen and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by in-depth discussions regarding your experience in the foodservice industry and your approach to account management.
