About the Role

Based in Indianapolis, IN, this position manages a customer and geographical sales territory to ensure customer needs are met while achieving budgeted sales and gross profit objectives. You will act as a strategic partner to clients, uncovering their distribution, product, and strategic needs to build trust and credibility. The role involves prospecting for new business, developing customer-specific strategies based on account potential and size, and effectively managing time to cover the entire territory.

In this role, you will serve as a vital link in America's food distribution system. You will utilize company tools and CRM systems to provide value through presentations, correspondence, and phone calls, ensuring that customer needs are matched with Vistar's service system features and benefits. You will also collaborate with local brokers, manufacturer representatives, and internal teams to resolve issues, uncover opportunities, and advocate for solutions that promote your customers' business strategies.
