Located in St. Louis, Missouri, we care for children and teenagers of all ages from the St. Louis area, Illinois, and across the nation. As an award-winning pediatric hospital, we are committed to compassionate, quality care, offering state-of-the-art clinical facilities including a Level IV NICU and a Level I Pediatric Emergency & Trauma Center.
The Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is seeking to grow our Allergy and Immunology division. Our faculty are recognized as national experts in the treatment of asthma, food allergy, and immune deficiency disorders. We are actively involved in developing and updating national and international patient care guidelines. Our division features a long-established, ACGME accredited Allergy and Immunology fellowship training program that is a single, fully integrated Pediatric-Internal Medicine program. Additionally, the Immunodeficiency Center serves as a referral center for the Jeffrey Modell Foundation and the Immunodeficiency Foundation, working closely with our Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation Team.
We are seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist to join our team at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will deliver state-of-the-art clinical care to children with allergic and immunologic conditions across our Medical Center's care delivery platforms in the Saint Louis region and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to expand and innovate across the division's research and educational programs while continuing the growth of an outstanding Allergy and Immunology program.
The physician will treat the full range of allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, food allergy, atopic dermatitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, primary immune deficiencies, and more. Beyond clinical duties, the role involves participating in the teaching of Pediatric and Internal Medicine residents and medical students, as well as contributing to the fellowship training program. There is potential for consideration to become Division Director based on experience and qualifications.
