The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Phoenix Children's is a dynamic team of 11 providers, including 7 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers. We serve a diverse patient population across the main hospital campus and satellite locations in the East, Southwest, and Northwest Valleys of Phoenix. Our practice is busy and growing, managing cases ranging from common allergic disorders to complex primary immunodeficiencies.
Currently, two physicians lead our immunology efforts in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including specialized clinics such as the Immunohematology Multi-disciplinary Clinic and the 22q Multi-disciplinary Clinic. We are seeking a third immunology-focused physician to join our ranks and help meet the expanding needs of patients in Phoenix and the surrounding areas.
This position is designed for a physician with a specific focus on immunology, inborn errors of immunity, or general immunology. Beyond clinical care, this role is deeply rooted in education and research. You will play a key part in training rotating pediatric residents and collaborating with fellows through our combined Allergy/Immunology fellowship partnership with Mayo Clinic Arizona.
You will enjoy regular interaction with Mayo Clinic allergists/immunologists through Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, and Journal Clubs. Additionally, you will hold academic faculty appointments through the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix, and Creighton University School of Medicine.
The clinic is actively engaged in clinical and translational research focusing on food allergy, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, asthma, and more. A genuine interest in participating in these research efforts is essential for this role.
As a staff physician, you will support Phoenix Children's mission to advance hope, healing, and the best healthcare for children and their families. We strive to be the leading pediatric health system in the Southwest, nationally recognized for exceptional care, innovative research, and advanced medical education.
