This position is dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential across intellectual, emotional, physical, and social dimensions. As a core academic instructor, you will serve as a vital guide in helping learners develop the competencies and skills necessary to thrive in society. Your mission is to foster a supportive environment where every student can grow, learn, and succeed.
Your work will be defined by a dynamic blend of instructional planning, active classroom engagement, and community collaboration. You will design and deliver lesson plans that align with district curriculum standards while thoughtfully accommodating diverse learning styles and individual needs. Beyond the core curriculum, you will collaborate closely with special education colleagues to modify instruction for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
You will also play a key role in shaping the classroom culture, managing student behavior in accordance with district codes, and ensuring a safe, conducive environment for learning. Whether you are leading extracurricular activities, mentoring instructional aides, or communicating openly with parents and the community, your presence will be a positive force in the school ecosystem.
This role involves a high level of physical engagement. You will spend significant time standing, walking, and moving around the classroom and potentially outdoors. The environment may include regular exposure to noise, and you may be required to lift light materials such as textbooks or classroom equipment.
