At Long Early Learning Center, we are dedicated to nurturing the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of our students. This position serves as a cornerstone of our mission to help every child fulfill their potential and develop the competencies needed to function successfully in society. As an Early Childhood educator, you will be more than an instructor; you will be a positive role model who fosters a supportive environment where diverse learning styles are understood and celebrated.
In this role, you will partner with colleagues to design and implement curriculum that meets the rigorous standards of the Texas Education Agency while accommodating individual student needs. Your day will involve creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, managing student behavior with care, and collaborating with special education staff to ensure every student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) is effectively supported. You will also have the opportunity to guide instructional aides and volunteers, extending your impact beyond the classroom walls.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the Abilene ISD Human Resources department. The selection process focuses on identifying educators who demonstrate a strong commitment to student growth and the district's mission.
The Abilene Independent School District is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
