This position is dedicated to providing students with meaningful learning activities and experiences in their assigned academic subject. The core mission is to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth, enabling them to develop the competencies and skills necessary to function successfully in society.
As a teacher, you will be a positive role model who supports the school district's mission. You will create a classroom environment conducive to learning that is appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. Your day will involve developing and implementing lesson plans that reflect accommodations for individual student differences, utilizing instructional strategies that align with the learning styles of your students. You will work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed and maintain open, professional communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community members.
This is a Probationary/Term Contract position lasting 187 days. The role is classified under Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees.
