
This full-time Unified Communications Engineer role supports secure enterprise communications systems for a federal government customer within Peraton's national security division. The position involves architecting, engineering, and sustaining Cisco UC environments, including CUCM and VMware infrastructures, across geographically dispersed sites. Key responsibilities include deploying secure voice and video teleconferencing solutions for classified operations, ensuring compliance with federal security standards like DISA STIGs and ICD/ICS 705, and coordinating with cybersecurity and facilities teams for SCIF deployments. The role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects that protect national security interests while collaborating with intelligence community working groups. Candidates will engage in high-level technical planning and Tier III support for executive leadership communications.
