Located at the Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX, this full-time Diagnostic Radiology position operates on a day shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. In this role, you will partner with physicians to provide high-quality radiologic films essential for diagnosing medical problems. Your day will involve preparing and positioning patients for imaging, selecting accurate exposure factors, and administering contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations. You will monitor patient safety during procedures, ensuring radiation safety protocols are strictly followed to prevent unnecessary exposure. Additionally, you will maintain equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and ensure the department remains clean and orderly.
