The CT Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform high-quality scans. You will operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images, review them for clarity and accuracy, and adhere to radiation safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff.
In addition to your primary duties, this position may assist with general radiology as needed. You will work under the supervision of a radiologist or physician to administer contrast media and provide patients with education regarding safety concerns inherent to contrast administration.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado.

For caregivers hired in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy License. 1-2 years of CT Experience. Certified Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT (R)(CT)). For CT Tech II role, completion of the controlled substance module and initial moderate sedation module (where applicable). 3+ years of CT experience.
