About the Role
This position is designed for those passionate about the patient experience. As an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our urgent care clinics, combining radiology expertise with medical assisting duties to support our clinical teams. You will be responsible for performing all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders, collecting patient history, and documenting information appropriately in the EHR. Your day-to-day may also include taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, administering IM injections, and applying splints, dressings, and bandages. You will assist with check-in and check-out processes, maintain records on in-house and external lab work, and keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

CareNow is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant school or approved program (BOTP); General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license in state of residency; Current BLS Certification within 30 days of start; Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months; and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.
