About the Role
Are you passionate about the patient experience? This position invites you to jump-start your career as an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant where you will care for patients with purpose and integrity. You will be part of a team that "cares like family," providing compassionate, high-quality care to the entire family in an urgent care setting.
In this role, you will serve as a vital link between clinical diagnostics and patient care. Your day will involve taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections. You will perform all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders, apply splints and dressings, and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Beyond clinical duties, you will keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress and maintain accurate records of activities, including drug screens and lab work sent to external facilities.
