As an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of our clinical team, blending radiology expertise with comprehensive patient care. You will perform all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders while simultaneously managing patient vitals, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections. Your day will involve collecting patient history, documenting EHR records accurately, and assisting with check-in and check-out processes.
You will also apply splints, dressings, and bandages, maintain detailed records of in-house and external lab work, and keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
