About the Role
As an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of our urgent care team, blending radiology expertise with comprehensive patient care. You will perform all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders while simultaneously managing patient vitals, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections. Your day will involve collecting patient history, documenting EHR records accurately, and assisting with check-in and check-out processes. You may also apply splints, dressings, and bandages, maintaining detailed logs on in-house and external lab work. Throughout your shift, you will keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience.

Requirements

- verifiedCurrent BLS Certification within 30 days of start
- verifiedFederal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months
- verified1+ year of clinical experience in patient care setting (helpful)
- verifiedExperience using EHR system (beneficial)
- verifiedCurrent AAMA certification (preferred)
Nice to Have
1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting. Experience using an EHR system. Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
