Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders
- check_circleCollect patient history and document information appropriately in the EHR
- check_circleKeep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress and status
- check_circleTake vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections
- check_circleAssist with patient check-in and check-out processes including chart auditing
- check_circleApply splints, dressings, and bandages to patients as needed
- check_circleMaintain records and logs for in-house lab work, drug screens, and external lab submissions
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedGraduate of accredited Medical Assistant school or approved program (BOTP)
- verifiedGeneral Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license in state of residency
- verifiedCurrent BLS Certification within 30 days of start
- verifiedFederal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months
- verifiedFederal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months
- verified1+ year of clinical experience in patient care setting (helpful)
- verifiedExperience using EHR system (beneficial)
- verifiedCurrent AAMA certification (preferred)
Nice to Have
1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting. Experience using an EHR system. Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
