This role is critical in ensuring that the state's digital presence effectively serves its citizens by delivering high-impact, user-focused content across web pages, digital applications, chatbots, and user guides.
About the Role
As a Web Content Designer, you will act as an expert copywriter who bridges the gap between complex government services and the public. Your mission is to assess customer needs and translate them into clear, motivating content that prioritizes user benefits over features. You will be responsible for the entire content lifecycle, from discovery and strategy to creation, governance, and performance tracking.
In this position, you will demonstrate mastery of content taxonomy, SEO, service design, and customer journey optimization. You must possess a deep understanding of the audience to clearly communicate how specific content addresses their needs. A key part of your day involves collaborating with various stakeholders to articulate content issues and solutions, ensuring that all digital assets align with business goals and adhere to State Content Guidelines.
