The Cyber Security Manager serves as a strategic leader, bridging the gap between technical execution and organizational goals. This position is designed to oversee the full lifecycle of complex security systems, ensuring they are not only robust but also seamlessly integrated with the company's broader physical and information security objectives. The role demands a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise and high-level leadership to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of reliability.
In this capacity, you will lead a dedicated team of cyber security engineers and forensics analysts. Your day-to-day involves fostering a culture of respect, trust, and teamwork while setting clear performance goals and providing professional development opportunities. You will act as the primary intermediary between the security program, IT management, and senior leadership, ensuring that critical security initiatives—from incident response to media sanitization—are executed efficiently.
The role extends beyond traditional management to include deep involvement in the investigative and operational aspects of cyber defense. You will oversee professionals responsible for digital forensics, waste fraud and abuse investigations, and insider threat risk assessments. Additionally, you will guide the team in coordinating responses to cyber incidents and security concerns, ensuring rapid and compliant actions during critical events. This includes facilitating tabletop exercises, disaster recovery drills, and managing the lessons learned process to strengthen the organization's resilience.
