Serco is seeking a Weapons System Requirements Analyst to join the dynamic Team Submarine In-service Program Office. This team unifies diverse submarine-related activities into a single, submarine-centric organization, eliminating traditional inefficiencies in research, development, acquisition, and maintenance. Led by Navy veteran David Drury, the team is responsible for the construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines, financial management, shipyard and vendor support, logistical operations, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post-delivery certifications. The team has been recognized by the Navy and industry for its outstanding contributions to contract and program success, providing improved communication among offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.
This position offers a rewarding, high-profile opportunity to support projects for the US Navy with a focus on technical rigor and expertise. You will collaborate with interagency teams and internal departments to support the development and validation of inspection, maintenance, and testing procedures specific to submarine systems. Your work will directly impact military defense and the safety of sailors by conducting research on military capabilities, coordinating test execution for Strike mission planning, and developing analytical products for military decision-makers. The role involves leading efforts to review submarine operating procedures, providing expert insight on system specifications, and potentially mentoring junior analysts. You will interact routinely with external customers and internal functional teams to define project scope and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
Candidates are encouraged to apply promptly through Serco's external career site, as the application window is limited to 60 days and the position may close earlier if filled. Please note that due to EEOC/OFCCP compliance, Serco cannot accept resumes via email. If selected for the process, you may be asked to present proof of identity via a government-issued photo ID with a matching name and address. For accommodations during the application process, please contact the HR Service Desk at 800-628-6458, option 1.
