A multi-discipline engineering firm with over 50 years in business is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for their Milwaukee office. The firm is dedicated to delivering complex public and private infrastructure solutions.
About the Role
This hybrid position is designed for a lead design engineer who will drive the technical and strategic direction of multi-discipline water and wastewater projects. You will serve as a mentor to junior staff while managing project scope, scheduling, and quality assurance. Beyond technical design, the role involves developing strategic market development plans, building client relationships, and identifying business development opportunities. You will represent the company at trade shows and conferences while actively participating in professional associations.
Work Model
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office work three days a week and remote work two days per week.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- verified8+ years of progressive technical design experience
- verified4+ years of experience managing public/private water and/or wastewater treatment infrastructure and facility projects
- verifiedPE License
- verifiedBusiness development experience
- verifiedExperience developing detailed plans/specifications for construction
- verifiedPrevious client and project management experience
- verifiedExperience mentoring/training team of engineering professionals
- verifiedAbility to travel approximately 15% of the time
- verifiedWorking knowledge of ArcMap, SWWM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD and/or Revit preferred
Nice to Have
Advanced degree. Working knowledge of ArcMap, SWWM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and/or Revit.
