About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Minneapolis office as a hybrid team member. In this position, you will serve as the lead design engineer for a variety of multi-disciplined, complex projects. Beyond technical design, you will act as a mentor to junior staff and manage project scope, scheduling, and quality assurance. This role also involves developing strategic market development plans, building client relationships, and identifying business development opportunities. You will represent the company at trade shows and conferences while actively participating in professional associations.
Work Model
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work three days a week and remote work two days per week.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- verified8+ years of progressive technical design experience
- verified4+ years of experience managing public/private water and/or wastewater treatment infrastructure and facility projects
- verifiedPE License
- verifiedBusiness development experience
- verifiedExperience developing detailed plans/specifications for construction
- verifiedPrevious client and project management experience
- verifiedExperience mentoring/training team of engineering professionals
- verifiedAbility to travel approximately 15% of the time
- verifiedExperience leading/managing multi-discipline design projects with engineering fees in excess of $1.0 million
- verifiedAuthorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Nice to Have
Advanced degree. Working knowledge of ArcMap, SWWM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and/or Revit.
