About the Role
As a UPS Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver, you will be a versatile member of our friendly, physically active crew. You will work inside as a warehouse worker and, when needed, step behind the wheel of our trucks to bring packages of all shapes and sizes to homes and businesses in your community and beyond.
This role is perfect for those who enjoy being outdoors, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in excellent customer contact. While functioning as a warehouse worker, you will typically work 3½ to 5 hours per day. When acting as a Temporary Cover Driver (TCD), you will work 8 to 10 hours per day. In both capacities, you will be required to work your assigned shift based on operational needs.
What to Expect
A busy shift involves loading and unloading boxes or delivering packages to customers. You will need the stamina to handle a workout like no other and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. As a Temporary Cover Driver, you will be expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
