About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless moving experience, combining professional driving skills with excellent customer service to build rapport and trust with every client.
You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers, performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain safety standards. Beyond driving, you will coordinate rental paperwork and payments, handle container maintenance and cleaning, and utilize handheld computers for verification and navigation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you may also perform backup duties at storage centers and assist with field repairs.
