About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role is essential to ensuring customers have a seamless experience from start to finish. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, handling the logistics of loading and unloading containers while maintaining excellent rapport with every client you meet.
Your day involves more than just driving; you will coordinate rental paperwork and payments directly with customers, verify deliveries using handheld computers, and ensure all containers are clean and presentable. Whether performing field repairs on containers and lifts or providing backup support for storage center functions, you play a critical part in keeping our operations running smoothly and incident-free.
