As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role is essential to ensuring customers have a seamless experience from start to finish. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, handling the loading and unloading of containers while maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
Your day involves coordinating rental paperwork and payments directly with customers, verifying deliveries using company handheld computers, and ensuring all containers are clean and presentable. You will also perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, and handle minor repairs to containers and lifts in the field. When needed, you will provide backup support for storage center functions and coordinate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager to resolve any customer issues.
