About the Role

FedEx is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers and Package Handlers to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that packages are processed accurately and delivered on time. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical part in the logistics chain, working collaboratively to maintain efficiency and safety standards.

Day in the Life

In this position, you will be responsible for the physical handling of packages throughout the warehouse. Your day may involve unloading packages from trailers and delivery vehicles, sorting items from trailers and delivery vehicles, and moving them through the facility. You will utilize conveyor belt systems to sort packages by destination and scan them into our advanced tracking system to ensure visibility and accuracy.

You will also be involved in loading packages into delivery trucks, ensuring they are staged correctly for outbound delivery. Throughout your shift, you will work quickly and safely to meet hourly sorting and loading quotas. Depending on operational needs, you may be assigned to specific roles such as loading, unloading, sorting, or scanning. sorting, or scanning.

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $17 to $22 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, shift differential pay for overnight or early morning shifts, attendance bonuses, and peak season incentives.
