About the Role

FedEx is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers and Package Handlers to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that packages are processed accurately and on time. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical part in the logistics chain, responsible for the physical movement and sorting of goods to meet strict productivity standards.

Day in the Life

In this position, you will be actively involved in the core functions of warehouse operations. Your daily tasks will include unloading packages from trailers and delivery vehicles, sorting packages by destination using conveyor belt systems, and scanning packages into the tracking system. You will also be responsible for loading packages into delivery trucks. Throughout your shift, you will work quickly and safely, ensuring that all packages are handled according to company procedures and that hourly sorting and loading quotas are met.

Depending on operational needs, you may be assigned to specific roles such as loading, unloading, sorting, or scanning. The environment is dynamic, requiring you to adapt to various tasks while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
