About the Role

Day in the Life
As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for the physical movement and processing of packages throughout the facility. Your daily tasks include unloading packages from trailers and delivery vehicles, sorting items by destination using conveyor belt systems, and scanning packages into the tracking system. You will also load packages into delivery trucks, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently according to company procedures.
Work Environment and Expectations
This position requires you to work quickly and safely while meeting hourly sorting and loading quotas. You must adhere strictly to FedEx safety policies, package handling procedures, and productivity standards. Depending on operational needs, you may be assigned to specific roles such as loading, unloading, sorting, or scanning.
