The VP - Securitized Product Control Manager, CIB Market Risk role serves as the guardian of market data quality certification used for market risk metrics and reporting. You will provide independent oversight of the Company's market data management to render risk-based processing and reporting, ensuring maximum protection of the organization's assets, products, and services.
In this position, you will manage market risk for all securitized products trading in the US, including secondary trading of agency RMBS, CMOs, CMBS, non-agency products (ABS, CLOs), whole loan trading, and securitization. Your day will involve reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating market data management to reduce operating losses and recommend resolutions for improved efficiency and risk reduction.
Your daily rhythm includes a morning dedicated to market data maintenance and quality checks, followed by an End-of-Day (EOD) certification process from 3 PM to 8 PM. You will liaise with multiple teams to resolve discrepancies, oversee short-term projects, and organize system upgrades to improve the efficiency of risk metric analysis.
