About the Role
As the VP, Health & Wellness - Dental Growth Analytics, you will serve as a hands-on strategic leader driving profitable growth within the Dental market. This role is designed to provide the decision management framework necessary to optimize investment returns and support key initiatives for Health & Wellness platform Dental providers and large clients.
You will partner closely with General Managers and their leadership teams to develop robust analytical solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert and business consultant, you will translate complex business needs and performance trends into clear, actionable insights. Your day-to-day involves leading the design and measurement of business KPIs, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, and overseeing the ideation, launch, and maintenance of advanced analytical tools. Through effective storytelling, you will present complex data to sales leadership to influence business decisions and drive provider and client behavior.

At Synchrony, we pride ourselves on offering flexibility. Our work model allows you the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. While remote work is supported, you will be required to commute to your nearest Hub for in-person engagement activities, including regular business or team meetings, training, and culture events.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree and 7 years of analytics experience OR high school diploma and 9+ years of analytics experience
- verified5 years of analytics experience in healthcare, financial services, credit card, or payments industry
- verified5 years leading large-scale analytics projects
- verified5 years of experience utilizing SQL, SAS, Python, or Tableau
- verifiedStrong Excel experience
- verified3+ years of client-facing experience
- verifiedAbility and flexibility to travel for business

Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, finance, business, or other quantitative fields. Health and wellness analytics experience, health/dental provider experience, and credit card industry experience. MBA or advanced degree in statistics, decision science, or predictive analytics. Strong knowledge and high proficiency in analytics tools like SAS, R, Python, and Tableau.
