About the Role
By Light is growing our team to extend our value more broadly across the Department of Defense, with an extensive focus on Cyber. The VP, Cyber Account Manager serves as the strategic leader for assigned opportunities within our Cyber market growth strategy. This role is designed for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed individual who thrives in managing the full business development and capture life-cycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits.
In this position, you will collaborate with business development, operational leadership, and Subject Matter Experts to build and execute call plans that position By Light for successful pursuits. Your day-to-day involves gathering, assessing, and validating customer requirements while directing the extended capture team to develop winning solutions. You will drive opportunities from identification through the proposal phase, translating customer intelligence into compelling solutions and shaping acquisitions to win business with new and existing customers.
Hiring Process
Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to lead responses to Statement of Work/Objectives and competitive RFP/RFQ/RFI requests. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals with a proven track record in developing, capturing, and winning large federal opportunities, as well as a deep understanding of the Government Acquisition process.
