We are seeking a seasoned Technical Development Lead to anchor a high-impact, client-facing engagement with a major retail pharmacy client in Chicago. This is a hands-on leadership position designed to drive the design, build, and delivery of full-stack solutions across the client's complex platform, spanning Azure cloud-hosted services, in-store server components, and end-user web frontends.
In this role, you will serve as the day-to-day technical face of the engagement to the client's Business, Product, IT, QE, and Architecture stakeholders. You will lead an offshore pod of developers and QA engineers, translating feature backlogs into clear technical work items while maintaining a hands-on presence to write production-grade code for complex components. Your mission is to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable solutions that support mission-critical retail pharmacy operations.
At CGI, you will join a global technology and consulting leader where your expertise directly impacts large-scale platforms. You will benefit from the stability and scale of an established firm combined with the entrepreneurial ownership mindset CGI is known for. As a CGI Partner, you are invited to be an owner from day one, shaping company strategy and benefiting from collective success.
This is a hybrid role requiring you to be local to Chicago and willing to be on-site up to 4 days per week. You will work closely with the client's Technical Architects to align solutions with the broader enterprise architecture across cloud, store server, and private cloud target states.
Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, ethnicity, ancestry, color, sex, religion, creed, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, pregnancy, medical condition, military and veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, and gender expression, familial status or responsibilities, reproductive health decisions, political affiliation, genetic information, height, weight, or any other legally protected status or characteristics to the extent required by applicable federal, state, and/or local laws where we do business.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $173,500.00.
CGI is anticipating accepting resumes through June 15, 2026. All offers of employment in the U.S. are contingent upon the ability to successfully complete a background investigation.
