Join the American Airlines family, a diverse, high-performing team dedicated to technical excellence. Our mission is to deliver unrivaled digital products that drive a more reliable and profitable airline. The Data Domain within Information Technology focuses on managing and leveraging data as a strategic asset, encompassing data management, storage, integration, and governance. We lean heavily into Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, and Business Intelligence to power our operations.
As part of our Data Domain, you will embark on a journey to tackle challenges with flexibility and grace while advancing your career. You will work closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide critical insights for decision-making. This role involves owning the full development lifecycle, from design and cloud engineering to ingestion, data modeling, testing, and production support.
You will be a key member of a DevOps team that completely owns and supports its product, implementing both batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies. Beyond technical execution, you will provide technical leadership, collaborate within a team environment, and mentor others to create multi-functional teams. This is an opportunity to enrich both your personal and work life while helping keep the largest airline in the world running smoothly.
