About the Role

The VP, Engineering Cloud Agile Lead serves as a strategic coordinator for multiple Agile Scrum and Kanban teams, driving the critical Engineering Cloud Migration journey. This role exists to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring that cross-team initiatives move forward seamlessly. You will collaborate closely with Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and business leaders to navigate complex dependencies and deliver value within the Engineering roadmap.

In this position, you will lead end-to-end cloud migration projects, from initial assessment and planning to post-migration support. Your day-to-day involves orchestrating Program Increment (PI) planning, managing hybrid cloud architecture strategies, and ensuring strict adherence to financial sector regulatory requirements. You will act as a catalyst for change, providing technical guidance on cloud platforms and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across Infrastructure, Security, and Application Ownership teams.

Our Way of Working

At Synchrony, we believe in choice and flexibility. Our way of working allows you the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. While the role is designed for flexibility, you will be required to commute to your nearest Hub for in-person engagement activities, such as business meetings, training sessions, and culture events.

Our Culture and Commitment

When you join us, you become part of an inclusive culture where individual skills, experience, and voices are not only heard but valued. Together, we are building a future where everyone can belong, connect, and turn ideals into action. More than 50% of our workforce is engaged in our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), creating a safe space where community and passion intersect to foster learning and growth.

We are proud to have an award-winning culture that ensures all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

Application and Hiring Process

To apply, please ensure you meet the eligibility requirements, including being 18 years or older and having the legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Note: We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this opening). As part of the onboarding process, candidates must be willing to undergo a drug test, background investigation, and fingerprint submission, and must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

If you require a reasonable accommodation to apply for a job or to perform your job due to a disability, please contact our Career Support Line at 1-866-301-5627 (8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, Central Standard Time). We are committed to providing accommodations such as changes to the application process, alternate document formats, or specialized equipment.
