We are currently establishing a pioneering, music-integrated hospice culture designed to transform moments into lasting memories through the healing power of sound.
About the Role
As a Hospice Music Volunteer, you will serve as a bridge between music and comfort in homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities across our 21-county service area. This role is designed for those who find meaning in melody, whether you are a college student pursuing music therapy, a retiree with a guitar, or simply someone with a gift for song.
Your day will involve bringing a supportive presence to patients, playing calming or familiar tunes, and engaging in shared musical experiences. Whether you are strumming a guitar, playing the piano, or simply humming a favorite melody, your goal is to provide emotional comfort and connection to patients and their families during their final journey.
