This position provides primary health care to a specific patient population within the guidelines of written protocols, adhering to established nursing standards, procedures, and practices. You will engage in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, defects, or injuries, recommending or prescribing treatments for the relief or cure of physical, mental, or functional ailments.
Beyond direct patient care, you will play a vital role in the operational success of the practice. This includes managing all necessary charting, summaries, and correspondence to document care and billing accurately. You will also participate in physician educational programs regarding capitated medicine, assist in responding to requests for proposals for managed care contracts, and contribute to the development of quality assurance, utilization management, and patient education services.
You will be based at the 3200 Endocrinology facility located at 2 Medical Park Rd, Richland. This role operates on a day shift and is part of the Practice Operations department within the Endocrinology unit.
