Vice President Surety

About the Role

This highly visible, collaborative position serves as the driving force behind securing all new business within a rapidly developing market. As a leader in the Surety space, you will manage a national book of business encompassing Commercial, Contract, Fidelity, Non-Standard, and Court Bonds. Your mission is to drive underwriting excellence by developing and executing strategic objectives, assessing risk tolerance, and evaluating underwriting performance to ensure continued profitability and operational efficiency.

You will act as a key partner to business units including Risk Control, Actuarial, Claims, Worldwide Operations, and Compliance, ensuring strict adherence to underwriting authority delegation, audit criteria, and catastrophe management. Beyond internal strategy, this role requires maintaining strong relationships with brokers, agents, and customers while providing expert support in the development of underwriting and training tools.
