Insurance Underwriter

About the Role

We are an industry leader seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to specialize in the Gas Stations & Auto Repair sector. In this role, you will evaluate risk, select submissions, and determine pricing for individual risks within the Excess Surplus and Commercial Lines programs. You will serve as a key resource to subordinate underwriting levels, other departments, and agents, while communicating underwriting appetite and strategies to our agency partners. The position also involves developing new agency relationships, maintaining a core group of agents, and assisting management with form development and enhancement.
