Vice President Surety

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the VP of Underwriting & Sales Contract Surety for our Arvada, CO operations. This executive position is pivotal in driving the strategic growth of our commercial contract surety program, which covers essential instruments including Bid, Construction, Performance, Payment, and Maintenance bonds.

In this role, you will lead both internal and external sales teams, crafting comprehensive strategies across multiple channels such as Managing General Agents, Brokers, Independent Agents, and Internet Affinity partners. Your day-to-day involves setting the strategic direction for field sales, identifying new distribution methods, and overseeing territory management to ensure sustainable expansion of new and existing products.

You will act as the bridge between sales execution and underwriting excellence, overseeing program development, building essential sales tools, and aligning communication touchpoints with agency development priorities. By collaborating closely with the Marketing team, you will manage online content, SEO, and advertising strategies to drive brand visibility and lead generation.

Leadership & Culture

As a leader, you will be responsible for developing, coaching, and managing your staff. This includes setting clear goals, evaluating performance, and making critical people management decisions regarding recruitment, promotions, and compensation.
