Vice President Surety

About the Role

As the VP of Underwriting & Sales Contract Surety, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for driving comprehensive sales strategies across multiple channels, including Managing General Agents, Brokers, Independent Agents, and Internet Affinity partners. This executive leadership position is pivotal in expanding our footprint in the Commercial Contract Surety market, overseeing a diverse portfolio of surety bonds such as Bid, Construction, Performance, Payment, and Maintenance bonds.

You will set the strategic direction for field sales efforts, identifying new distribution methods and ensuring financial support for growth initiatives. The role involves overseeing program development, building essential sales tools, and aligning communication touchpoints with agency development priorities. You will monitor sales trends across personal property product lines, recommending targeted solutions to address deficits and drive performance.

A key aspect of this position is expanding our sales channels by identifying and soliciting potential partners, including insurance carriers, aggregators, and online quoting services. You will drive the contract negotiations, onboarding, training, and servicing of new agency and sales partners while collaborating closely with the Marketing team to manage online content, SEO, and advertising strategies.
