The Vice President of Finance and Accounting serves as a core member of the senior management team, providing strategic leadership and coordination for all company financial decisions. This role is pivotal in partnering with the President and other Vice Presidents to guide the company's strategic direction.
In this capacity, you will oversee the accounting and HR departments, including the shared service center, while ensuring the accuracy of all financial reports. The position requires a proactive approach to monitoring monthly operating results by product line and coordinating the preparation of financial forecasts. You will be instrumental in preparing financial analysis for contract negotiations and product line decisions, as well as driving capital employed and working capital improvement projects.
Beyond traditional financial oversight, this role involves identifying and executing efficiency improvements in sales, operations, logistics, and finance. You will also coordinate internal audits and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal financial and tax reporting requirements. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner, leveraging a sound understanding of business processes to support the organization's growth and operational excellence.
