The Vice President of Capture Management is a visionary leadership position designed to drive SAIC's long-term growth and market leadership. This role exists to shape and execute winning strategies for our most strategic, high-value opportunities, ensuring SAIC remains the partner of choice in competitive government landscapes.
In this capacity, you will spearhead the full lifecycle of capture for enterprise-scale opportunities, moving beyond traditional procurement to leverage diverse acquisition strategies including FAR-based procurements, Assisted Acquisitions, and Other Transaction Authority (OTA). You will direct cross-functional teams of senior stakeholders, from proposal managers to solution architects, ensuring a unified approach to achieving strategic goals. The position requires an entrepreneurial mindset capable of inspiring teams and capturing the confidence of government stakeholders to propel SAIC's success.
Your day will involve cultivating influential relationships with government leaders and industry partners at the executive level to shape requirements and anticipate procurement trends. You will leverage detailed market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify SAIC's unique value propositions, positioning the company for sustained competitive advantage. By designing and implementing enterprise-level win strategies utilizing SAIC's methodologies and lessons learned, you will maximize win probability for pursuits valued at $750M+ annually, with pipelines culminating in submitted opportunities exceeding $1.5B.

Proven track record of capturing and winning single-award, enterprise-level, full-and-open competitive contracts. Experience winning new business with government customers through commercial acquisition models. Expertise in leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and CRM systems for capture management. Professional certifications such as PMP, APMP, or equivalent.
