Banfield Pet Hospital is dedicated to delivering quality care to pets while supporting the veterinarians who provide it. As part of Mars, Inc., we are guided by our Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, and Freedom. Our mission is to ensure every pet receives consistent, safe, and patient-centered care across our network of hospitals.
The Area Chief of Staff serves as a vital leader for associate veterinarians, driving the culture and delivery of quality care within assigned hospitals. This role is unique as a "working manager" position, meaning you will remain clinically active while leading your team. You will partner with Practice Managers to foster an inclusive environment where doctors feel supported, engaged, and successful.
In this role, you will ensure that every pet receives care aligned with our six domains of quality: safe, effective, patient/client-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. You will validate clinical skills through medical record reviews and audits, oversee coaching programs for new veterinarians, and champion a culture of preventive care. Your leadership will directly impact hospital performance, doctor retention, and the overall client experience.
If you are a current associate, please apply through our internal career site by logging into Workday and selecting the Jobs Hub app or searching for Browse Jobs. External candidates should follow the standard application process for this position.
