Terrace Heights Family Pet Clinic is a Silver Certified Cat Friendly Practice in Yakima County, dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion. Under the new leadership of Medical Director Dr. Jamie Reed, a Yakima native and WSU graduate with over a decade of experience, the clinic fosters a culture of trust, accountability, and mentorship. Dr. Reed, who began her journey at the clinic nearly 23 years ago as a kennel attendant, aims to inspire the team through clear communication and empathy, empowering every member to take ownership of their work.

The clinic stands out for its special interest in advanced dentistry, including endodontics, and its commitment to client education. We value longevity, boasting a highly skilled support staff with numerous long-term technicians. Our goal is to support your professional interests, allowing you to practice what matters most while building a schedule that ensures a healthy work/life balance.

About the Role

As a veterinarian at Terrace Heights Family Pet Clinic, your home base will be our clinic, with the opportunity to split time at our partner practice, Yakima Animal Medical Service. While your main focus will be small animal medicine, the role offers the flexibility to treat companion animals and, for those interested, equine patients through mixed animal services. We are looking for a doctor who prioritizes client communication, maintains a positive attitude, and enjoys appointments just as much as surgery. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced professional, you will be supported by a Medical Advisory Board, monthly rounds with an internal medicine specialist, and training from a board-certified dental specialist.
