Terrace Heights Family Pet Clinic is a compassionate, high-quality small animal practice in Yakima, Washington, dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine through client education and specialized care. As the only Silver Certified Cat Friendly Practice in Yakima County, we pride ourselves on a supportive culture where long-term technicians and veterinarians thrive together. We recently welcomed Dr. Jamie Reed as our new Medical Director, a Yakima native and WSU graduate who brings a decade of small animal experience and a deep commitment to mentorship and team empowerment.
We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian who prioritizes client communication, maintains a positive attitude, and finds joy in both routine appointments and surgical procedures. Your home base will be Terrace Heights Family Pet Clinic, with the opportunity to split time at our partner practice, Yakima Animal Medical Service. While your primary focus will be small animal medicine, we welcome interest in mixed animal services, including equine care. We support your professional interests, helping you build a schedule that balances clinical excellence with a fulfilling life outside of work.
We are open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates. Our investment in your growth includes a structured mentorship program, guidance from a Medical Advisory Board, and access to specialists for monthly DVM rounds and dentistry training. Dr. Reed fosters a culture of trust and accountability, encouraging team members to take ownership of their work while providing constructive feedback and opportunities for leadership development.
