We are proud to be "where the pets go" and where the pet people go. For more than 60 years, we have been dedicated to improving lives by doing what's right for pets and people. Our mission is to help pets live their best lives, from their favorite meals and toys to trusted supplies and expert support from people who truly understand the bond.
We believe in the universal truths of pet parenthood—the boundless boops, missing slippers, late-night zoomies, and everything in between. Today, we are a team of 29,000+ strong, nurturing the pet-human bond in over 1,500 Petco stores across the U.S., Mexico, and Puerto Rico, alongside 250+ Vetco Total Care hospitals, hundreds of preventive care clinics, and eight distribution centers. Through our Petco Love initiative, founded in 1999, we support thousands of local animal welfare groups and have helped find homes for approximately 7 million animals.
Our core values guide our spirit:
If you want to make a real difference, create an exciting career path, feel welcome to be your whole self, and nurture your wellbeing, Petco is the place for you.
This position serves as the Field Team Lead, providing functional direction to field staff and acting as the primary point of escalation for customer, vet, or store partner issues. You will be the driver of company vehicles to vaccination clinics and responsible for the overall performance and operational compliance of the day's events.
In this role, you will lead the team through the daily rhythm of mobile clinics. You will ensure optimal clinic locations and crowd management, facilitate a sales environment, and manage any issues that arise during operations. You will serve as the primary liaison with leadership at clinic locations and the Market Manager, ensuring all processes are followed and paperwork is accurate. Your day involves coaching team members, handling difficult customer situations including pet incidents, and ensuring the safe handling of equipment and supplies. You will also be responsible for end-of-day reconciliation, reporting, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for both pets and people.
To join our team, please submit your application through our careers portal. We review applications on a rolling basis and look for candidates who embody our values and passion for animals. Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview to discuss their experience and fit for the role.
