The Worldwide Grocery Category Management team leads multiple facets of our retail business across banners, identifying growth opportunities within categories. We are dedicated to optimizing assortment for key vendors and brands while driving the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon.
As a Vendor Manager, you will engage directly with internal teams across major functional areas such as category management, pricing, inventory management, operations, marketing, and finance. You will own a wide SKU count for your vendors, ensuring your day-to-day remains varied and challenging. This role requires a self-starter who takes ownership of projects and business problems to deliver results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
You will serve as the business owner for your vendors and brands, working autonomously with a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business. Your day-to-day involves coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with internal and external partners to hit financial targets while meeting tight deadlines. You will conduct financial analyses of business opportunities, including weekly and monthly vendor performance metrics, to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals. Additionally, you will provide input on promotional activity, space allocation, pricing, productivity analysis, and forecasting for your vendors and brands.
