As a Value-Based Care Principal Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients across public sector health, provider, and payer-provider environments. Your mission is to help clients turn value-based care (VBC) strategy into tangible operating models, implementation plans, and measurable results.
You will combine deep domain expertise with strong consulting judgment to guide clients through the critical decisions needed to move from strategy to execution. This includes designing governance structures, care models, and performance management frameworks. You will lead complex engagements from planning through delivery, managing teams and resolving issues while building lasting client relationships. The role requires translating complex clinical, financial, and data topics into actionable business outcomes for C-suite and senior clinical leaders.

Proven leadership in value-based care transformation, including design and execution of payment models, care management, provider performance enablement, quality (e.g., STARs/HEDIS), and total cost of care initiatives. Deep familiarity with Medicaid-driven VBC models, provider incentives, attribution, network strategy, and quality or cost performance frameworks. Ability to translate VBC strategy into practical operating models, governance structures, and execution plans. Strong understanding of AHEAD readiness or similar state-led value-based initiatives. Trusted executive advisor with strong presence and experience engaging C-suite and senior clinical/operational leaders; able to translate complex clinical, financial, and data topics into actionable business outcomes. Demonstrated consulting delivery and commercial acumen, including experience leading large, multi-stakeholder healthcare transformation programs involving providers, health plans, state agencies, or public sector health clients with contribution to sales, origination, and account growth. Strong analytical and technology fluency, with experience leveraging data, analytics, and digital platforms (e.g., care management, population health, AI-enabled tools) to drive measurable outcomes under value-based arrangements.
