As a UX Designer, you will partner closely with a team of highly skilled software developers, project managers, graphic designers, and quality assurance professionals throughout the entire project life cycle. You will lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering with clients, translating user needs into intuitive designs. Your day will involve conducting user research and usability tests to inform design decisions, producing site maps and navigable information architecture, and managing multiple client projects and timelines simultaneously.
You will be responsible for designing user-centered wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and personas, then presenting these designs to collect feedback from stakeholders and internal teams while advocating for user-centered solutions. Finally, you will hand off designs with detailed documentation to developers and conduct site audits and content reviews.
Applicants in Maine will be prioritized, but we are open to remote candidates. This position requires passing a criminal background check due to client contracting requirements.
