The City of Bellevue seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to lead program management and senior-level engineering work in support of the Utilities' Capital Investment Program (CIP). Under the direction of the CIP Portfolio Manager, this role serves as the program manager for the Utilities' three largest capital programs: watermain replacement, sewer pipe defect repair/replacement, and stormwater pipe defect repair/replacement.
In this position, you will drive program development, planning, and management while providing team leadership. You will develop recommendations for department management on policy and high-level issues to ensure program objectives and service goals are met. The role involves leading citywide cross-departmental project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring consistency across departments. You will also manage public involvement efforts, coordinate with external agencies and consultants, and conduct complex engineering analysis to present study results to diverse audiences ranging from engineers to departmental directors.
