About the Role
The Orpheum Theater is seeking friendly and reliable Ushers to deliver an exceptional guest experience during live events. This is a flexible, event-based position designed for team members who thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in hospitality.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patrons, setting the tone for their evening. Your day-to-day involves greeting guests with a professional and welcoming demeanor, scanning tickets, and guiding attendees to their seats. You will act as a vital resource, answering questions about the venue and event details while monitoring your assigned areas to ensure safety and comfort. Beyond direct guest interaction, you will assist with crowd flow before, during, and after events, providing general support to front-of-house operations as needed.
Scheduling & Expectations
This position offers flexibility, allowing team members to select shifts based on their personal availability and the theater's event schedule. While you may accept or decline shifts according to your calendar, reliability is essential once a shift is accepted. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred to meet the needs of our live event calendar.
